Join filmmaker Aryana Farshad on a mesmerizing journey deep into the heart of her native Iran. Shot entirely on location, this unprecedented cinematic tour reveals spiritual rites and rituals hidden for centuries. From the women's chamber of the Great Mosque, to the temple-caves in the land of Zarathustra, to the sacred dance of the Dervishes in Kurdistan, discover religious ceremonies and locations never before seen by the outside world.

Iranian-American filmmaker and Award-winning documentarian Aryana Farshad began her higher education in Paris, majoring in French Literature at La Sorbonne, prior to receiving her degree from renown "L' I. D. H. E. C" film institute in Paris, France, majoring in Film Production and Editing. She has lectured at: The British Museum of Arts, LA County Museum of Arts, UC Berkeley, Stanford University, Fes Sacred Music Festival in Morocco, Parliament of the World Religions in Barcelona, and the Gene Siskel Film Center in Chicago.

She began her film career as a documentary editor in France, continuing in Iran and the US. Aryana's approach demonstrates her ability to tap into the very essence of the subject, infusing the narrative with her seasoned cinematic touch.
